About Toy Scales or Sizes

The size of most farm and construction toy replicas are a fraction of the size of the real piece of equipment. This size is often referred to as the "scale" of the toy. Because the scale is a fraction, the larger the bottom number, the smaller the toy (see example above). Or more simply, 1/32 scale means that it would take 32 toy tractors end to end to equal the length of the real tractor.
For those more familiar with model railroading scales: G = 1/24th scale, O = 1/48th scale, S = 1/64 scale, and HO = 1/87 scale.
